We’ve been walking across the room for a while. Now what? You may be wondering what is coming up next. I hope to use every series of messages as a means to fulfilling our purpose as a church. We want to glorify God by leading people to follow Christ. One of the strategies we use here is to teach the Bible in a practical way, emphasizing application. I want every Dayspring attender to feast on the Word of God. I also want to model how to read the Bible for all its worth. My hope is that the weekend messages will serve as examples of how to get into the Bible and really hear the voice of God.
With this in mind, our upcoming series is entitled Faux Pas of Faith. We’ll seek to learn how to go right by analyzing how various biblical characters went wrong! Starting next week, we’ll observe and analyze some notable mistakes so we don’t follow in footsteps that lead down wrong roads. Each lesson is a human-interest story that will captivate you and the friends you invite. I hope to see you here for each message in the series of six. Pray for God to use this in a mighty way.
