Week by week I write in this column about our purpose as a church and the strategies we use to fulfill that purpose. I try to examine these things from a variety of angles and to explain a wide variety of related facets. But every now and then is it worthwhile to simplify. So, here it is in a nutshell.
Our primary purpose: to glorify God by leading people to follow Christ.
Our primary strategy: relationships!
That’s really it. Notice how these interplay. And note also that these can be summarized by saying that we love God and love people. That’s what we are doing here
