MARCH 17 & 18, 2007

In this week’s installment of my MAPS, I want to share a simple strategy that you can employ in order to drastically improve your impression of our services. I’ve been getting lots of cool feedback on the weekend messages. A common comment goes like this: It seems like you were talking only to me. How can this happen more often to more people?

The simplest method to enhance your experience at church is to come ready to receive something. That’s right, come ready to receive. When you do, you’ll find what you are looking for here. Getting prepared for church involves more than showering, eating breakfast, and selecting clothes that roughly match. Pray! There is an old saying that boring preaching is God’s gift to a prayer-less church. So, pray, and you’ll find that the worship is enriching, the message is convicting, and the whole service is stimulating and relevant. If you come ready to meet with God, he will meet you here.

Yours, Larry
