FEBRUARY 23 & 24, 2008
Remember the vision statement we learned together last month?
The Vision of Dayspring Fellowship is...
To glorify God by reaching out in love to more people, connecting them into authentic relationships, and growing up in maturity as followers of Christ.
It is important to be reminded about what guides us. Authors describe a syndrome called mission drift. This is the tendency for an organization to veer away from why it exists and what it exists to accomplish. For this week's installment of my Messages About Purpose and Strategy, I want to remind you about the importance of reminders! Because vision leaks, it must be recast regularly and passionately. I won't let us forget what we are forging together. We have a high aim. Let's glorify God by reaching out in love to more people, connecting them into authentic relationships, and growing up in maturity as followers of Christ!
