To glorify God by reaching out in love to more people,
connecting them into authentic relationships and growing up in maturity as followers of Christ!

Notice the center phrase. We know that people need to be connected in order to grow. And connection means more than staring at the back of someone's head in the celebration center during a service. People need authentic relationships. They need friendships in which they can be real.

This weekend's message concludes with an emphasis on getting deep in relationships through open, honest communication. Superficiality won't do. Let's commit ourselves to follow Christ in giving ourselves to others. So much of life skates along the surface, failing to ever dive deep. You are part of the solution. Step out of your comfort zone. Ask Christ to fill your heart with love for others and show it. Get involved in the lives of the people around you. When in doubt, reach out. The needs are all around us. People are hungry for the love that God's people have in Christ. Let's give it away.
