March 14 & 15

I was really ready for daylight savings time. It's nice to come home from work when it is still light. I'm sure you've also been noticing some signs of spring. There are not many, but a few things are starting to bud and bloom. As the season reminds us of new life, we want to renew our commitment to honor God by reaching out in love to more people. That is part of our vision here at Dayspring.

In Keizer, spring means Iris festival. Dayspring will be playing a big part in the festivities by serving our community once again this year. In today's Message About Purpose and Strategy, I just want to remind you about our need to step out of our comfort zones and connect with people, offering tangible help and care. We aren't sure just what our involvement will look like this year, but people are starting to imagine new ways of bringing glory to God right here where we are situated. Our church sits on a significant road, visible to all. Let's make sure our love for God and for people is visible to all as well. Get ready to labor by God's strength, for God's glory, so that many more people will experience new life in Christ.
